Dynamic expansion for Rica Hotels

We can look forward to an exciting time over the next 3 years. New hotel projects within Rica Hotels are practically waiting in line to become a reality.

Bergen
Completion of a new Rica hotel in Bergen is planned for May 2012. The hotel will contain around 240 guest rooms of high standard and a modern course and conference section with capacity for up to 300 persons in addition to restaurants, bars and a fitness centre.  
 
Namsos
The hotel will be built in connection with RockCity, a resource centre for professional rock music, with direct access via a glass bridge. The conference capacity is 200m², in addition to a total of 400m² in RockCity. The hotel will also have 96 guest rooms of high standard and an “all day” restaurant with panoramic views. Completion is scheduled for June 2011.
 
G20
The first planned opening of our new hotels is scheduled for May 2010. This modern hotel, situated at Grensen 20 in the heart of Oslo, will have 96 tastefully furnished guest rooms. It will also boast a relaxing bar lounge and a tantalising à la carte restaurant with seating for around 80 persons. 

Holmenkollen Park Hotel Rica
The hotel is being extended by 110 new guest rooms. Completion is scheduled for December 2010 so that the new rooms will be ready for Ski VM (Ski World Championships) in February 2011.
 
Narvik
A 14-storey hotel sited at Narvik’s most sought after location. The hotel will contain 150 modern double rooms and a sky bar. The hotel will also have course and conference capacity for 200 persons. Completion is scheduled for the 3rd quarter of 2011.

Trondheim
Yet another superb hotel is to be built on the banks of the river Nid (Nidelva), sited on the other side of Rica Nidelven Hotel vis-à-vis Radisson Blue Royal Garden. Construction will comply with demands in the future for energy consumption, where the need for supplied energy will be half the present requirement in terms of kWh/m². The hotel will contain 172 guest rooms of high standard, modern meeting room facilities and a restaurant. Completion is scheduled for June 2011.
 
Stavanger
Rica Airport Hotel, Stavanger will open in August 2010. The hotel will have a unique location at Stavanger Airport Sola, just a few yards from the arrivals hall. The hotel will have 188 guest rooms and 10 meeting rooms. The airport bus stops right outside the hotel’s front door where there is also a taxi stand and parking.
